The spine shot can be effective, just like that. Nice self film job and great deer!
jcoash, I think you need to spend time hypocriting people who acutally take bad shots and the animals suffers but this wasnt a bad shot at all actaully i think it was damn good after a good tasting supper!
NothinG wrong with a spine shot at all… just have to be more percise about where you put the shot. Good hunt and self video!
Sorry you feel thast way. I practice shooting straight down, and I know where I’m hitting. The deer died very quickly and humanely. I don’t see how this gives us a bad rep, but we all have our opinions. I’m for any quick kill that desn’t let the animal suffer. This one was over quick.
unethical shot should never have been taken. I’m a hunter but, you don’t take shots like these… these are the shots that give a hunter a bad rep. My personal opinion.
It was a spine shot, and fortunately it died quickly right there under the stand. Its not ideal to hit them like that, but it makes for a short track.
